Nice, quiet hotel in the center of Miraflores! I stayed here with a large group while traveling in Peru. The outside of the hotel is classy and very inviting with it's colonial architecture. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was incredible and we enjoyed it on the outside, back patio. The location is wonderful and close to the famous Parque Kennedy and only 4 blocks from the Pacific Ocean and the Larcomar shopping center. I prefer this hotel since it is far enough away from the busy roadways and parks that the ambient noise is much less than other lodging in the area. The staff was very wonderful, especially the kind general manager.

No me alojé pero me ayudaron. Un 10 para la señorita †Lidia‡ Una amiga y yo regresábamos de viaje con dos maletas pequeñas y no teníamos dónde dejarlas. Ir hasta Chorrillos (dónde vive otra amiga nuestra) suponía un coste elevado en taxi y en tiempo para después tener que regresar a visitar cosas en Miraflores y San Isidro. Recorrimos un montón de hoteles buscando servicio de consigna. Nadie nos aceptó las maletas pagando un suplemento por el servicio ni sin pagarlo. Por fin la señorita Lidia, quién gestiona el hotel Casa San Martín, nos ayudó y nos permitió que dejáramos las maletas en una sala sin problema. Gracias Lidia, para nosotras fue un alivio. Personas cómo Lidia ayudan al turismo de un lugar a crecer y mejoran la experiencia del extranjero en un país que no es el suyo. Un 10 para Lidia y para el hotel Casa San Martín. Si algún día debo regresar a Lima, buscaré hospedarme en este hotel.

I loved this hotel, which I'm going to rate as the best in Lima. I've visited Lima four times for work and pleasure, and hope to return - I now know (without any doubt) where I'm going to stay if I do! The staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and up to any challenge; the hotel is small (although the clean, well-accessorised rooms are a good size), comfortable and full of charm; it has a library with an intimate reading area and a fascinating collection of Pre-Columbian pottery; and it's in central Miraflores, with a mix of well-priced cafes and restaurants within a 100-200 metre radius. I highly recommend staying at Casa San Martin.

Dieses bessere Hotel hatte ich in erster Linie gewählt, um nach einem langen Flug erholsamen Schlaf zu finden. Unser Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, und warm Wasser gab's auch nach wenigen Minuten. Der Service war außergewöhnlich, und zum Frühstück gab's frisches Obst und handgebrühten Kaffee (!). Des erwünschten Schlafes wegen hätte ich nach einem Zimmer nach hinten raus fragen sollen. Vorne war der Verkehrslärm durch die Fenster älterer Bauart doch deutlich zu hören, so dass wir Ohrstöpsel benutzen mussten. Beim nächsten mal bin ich schlauer :-)

Very friendly people and willing to help and provide details of the city. very clean comfortable room and the whole hotel decor is normal, just enough . It is also a good central location making it easy to travel in the area.
